Prof. Christine M. Eng, professor of Molecular and Human Genetics in Baylor College of Medicine, is the director of Storage Disorders Clinic in Texas Children‘s Hospital. She also serves as Chief Quality Officer, Vice President and Chief Medical Officer of Baylor Genetics. She is an ABMG-certified clinical molecular genetics and ABP-certified general pediatrics. Her major clinical research interest is in lysosomal storage diseases, particularly Fabry disease, Gaucher disease, and Mucopolysaccharidosis type 2, with emphasis on both clinical and laboratory approaches to the elucidation of the natural history, molecular genetics, and evaluation of treatments in clinical trials.
